Waves of Perception
Archival pigment and colored pencil on Rives BFK coated with ink receptor, 15" x 20".

These sets of 15" by 20" full-bleed prints are printed on Rives BFK, coated with ink-receptor. Through these prints I explore perception of colors through wavelengths, depth perception, and fields of vision. I focus my color pallet on indigo and orange the two more debated wavelengths of color. Through optical illusions I bring attention to how simple vectors and wavelengths can trick the senses. Geometric patterns throughout the prints are colored in by hand to show the smooth transitions between colors.
